Integral Education 21
The conceptual basis for, and the theory and practice of, Integral Education may be mistaken for yet another plan to increase test scores or other governmental mandate. But Integral Education is a wide and deep approach that reaches down into the very roots of humanity’s search for meaning and provides a foundation upon which every stakeholder in the accumulation and dispensation of knowledge20can begin to revision its place in our lives.
Having founded the Center for Integral Education and participating in seminars with its predecessor, I became aware that there was an unmet need for focus on the pre-kindergarten through high school cohort.
Adult transformative education, graduate school courses, and college-level offerings have been met with an outpouring of creativity and scholarship.
But the younger learners demand different approaches and research, and it is for this group that I dedicate INTEGRAL EDUCATION 21.

The name comes from the recent energy surrounding creation of 21st Century educational skills, which I applaud.
Let this page be dedicated to efforts to include INTEGRAL with the 21st Century educational creation.
My blog contains many aspects of explaining how I-Ed 21 might take shape, and my forthcoming book will explore my thoughts in an organized format for educators, administrators, and policy makers.
